CF Cupellation Furnace

Description

Designed for metallurgical analysis, the CF Cupellation Furnace from Verder Scientific is built to perform high-temperature processes including cupellation and fire assay. These methods are standard for determining the purity and content of precious metals like gold and silver. The furnace chamber is constructed to safely contain the process and manage the lead oxide fumes generated during cupellation. It achieves a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C and is offered in three chamber capacities: 60, 24, and 15. Available operational features can include digital over-temperature protection, an audible alarm system, and RS232 communication ports for external data logging or instrument control integration.
