CESI 8000 Plus ESI-MS system

Description

The CESI 8000 Plus ESI-MS system is an integrated analytical instrument from SCIEX that couples capillary electrophoresis (CE) directly with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). This configuration is engineered for the high-resolution separation and sensitive mass spectrometric detection of analytes from very small sample volumes. It is controlled and operated using the SCIEX OS software platform. The system can function as a standalone capillary electrophoresis instrument or be interfaced with a compatible mass spectrometer to provide detailed molecular characterization. This integration is intended for applications where traditional liquid chromatography may not provide sufficient resolution or where sample amounts are limited, such as in the analysis of complex biologics, peptides, or metabolites.
