Description

This benchtop vacuum concentrator from Labconco accelerates solvent removal from multiple small-volume samples by combining centrifugal action, vacuum, and heat. Operating on 115 volts, it offers an adjustable vortexing speed range from 500 to 1800 rpm and can heat samples up to 100°C. Instrument control is managed through a 5-inch touchscreen interface, which allows users to set run parameters, monitor process data, and access system diagnostics. The operating system supports the creation, storage, and recall of custom method protocols. A notable operational feature is the ability to dynamically adjust speed, temperature, and vacuum levels during an active run without needing to stop the process. The system provides high sample capacity, with stackable rotors enabling the concurrent processing of up to 312 samples. Additional functionalities include rotor imbalance detection, comprehensive data logging with export options in .CSV and .PDF formats, and Ethernet connectivity for remote alerts and software updates. A built-in strobe light facilitates visual inspection of samples while the unit is spinning.
