Celloger® Stack, Automated Multi-layer Vessel Monitoring System

Description

The Celloger Stack from Curiosis is an automated imaging system for monitoring cell cultures grown in multi-layer vessels like stacked flasks. It is designed to provide continuous, label-free observation of cell confluence, morphology, and growth patterns without removing cultures from the incubator, thereby reducing contamination risk and manual labor. The system, with dimensions of 330 x 450 x 350 mm, integrates directly into standard cell culture incubators. It uses an automated slide mechanism to sequentially position each layer of a multi-layer vessel under a high-resolution optical camera for scheduled imaging. This process minimizes environmental disturbance to the cultures. Acquired images are transmitted to dedicated analysis software, which quantifies parameters such as confluence and generates growth curves. By providing objective, time-series data across all layers of a vessel, the Celloger Stack aims to support improved process consistency and decision-making in scale-up and production environments where high-density cell culture is utilized.
