Description

The CDLT Coal Drying Low Temperature Oven from Verder Scientific is designed for drying procedures in coal and coke testing that require a gentler thermal environment, with a maximum operating temperature of 50°C. It shares a chamber capacity of 450 units with its high-temperature counterpart. Effective and consistent drying is facilitated by a dual-fan forced air circulation system. Two centrifugal fans work in conjunction with air ducts and guides to establish a controlled horizontal airflow across the chamber, which promotes uniform sample treatment. This design continuously vents moisture-laden air and replaces it with dry air. The unit employs robust, mineral-insulated metal-sheathed heating elements. Optional features that can be specified include cascade control, program segment output, a temperature alarm relay, an audible alarm, a built-in thermocouple, and a built-in digital indicator for Type K thermocouples.
