The flask surface is synthetically engineered and incorporates defined motifs derived from fibronectin to promote cell attachment and proliferation for extracellular matrix-dependent cell types. These flasks are intended for applications such as the expansion and directed differentiation of stem cells, including human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs). They are also suitable for culturing primary cells and other eukaryotic cells that require ECM support. The product is designed for feeder-free culture systems and is compatible with restrictive media formulations, including serum-free and xeno-free conditions. By providing a pre-coated, standardized surface, these flasks aim to minimize experimental variability, reduce preparation time, and lower contamination risks compared to manual coating procedures.
