Description

Shimadzu's CBM-40 is a system controller for modular HPLC and UHPLC configurations. The unit has a compact, low-profile form factor, measuring 260 millimeters in width, 500 millimeters in depth, and 72 millimeters in height, allowing it to be stacked with other system components. It centralizes communication and control for connected chromatographic modules, primarily via four integrated fiber optic ports that support a plug-and-play system assembly. The controller also includes an Ethernet port and hosts an internal web server. This enables remote monitoring and operation of the chromatography system through a standard web browser, Shimadzu's LabSolutions CDS software, or compatible third-party control platforms. It requires an AC power supply from 100 to 240 volts, with a power consumption rating of 50 VA at 50/60 Hz.
