Cary 3500 Multicell UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
Manufacturer: Agilent Technologies
SKU: Cary 3500 Multicell
Description
The Cary 3500 Multicell from Agilent Technologies is a double-beam UV-Vis spectrophotometer configured for parallel, temperature-regulated experiments. It measures across a wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm with an accuracy of ±0.2 nm and a scanning speed of 150,000 nm/min. Its defining capability is the simultaneous execution of up to four independent temperature experiments across eight cuvette positions. Temperature control is managed by an integrated, air-cooled Peltier system with a range of 0 to 110 °C, removing the requirement for external water cooling. The optical path employs a narrow, collimated beam less than 1.5 mm wide, suitable for small-volume samples. Kinetic data can be captured at 250 points per second. Like other models in the series, it uses a long-life xenon flash lamp and includes Cary UV Workstation software, with design considerations for data integrity in regulated laboratory environments.
