Description

Agilent Technologies' Cary 3500 Compact is a double-beam UV-Vis spectrophotometer covering a wavelength range from 190 to 1100 nm. It achieves a high scanning speed of 150,000 nm per minute and offers a selectable spectral bandwidth between 0.1 and 5 nm, with a wavelength accuracy of ±0.2 nm. A key feature is its integrated, air-cooled Peltier system, which provides precise temperature control for samples from 0°C to 110°C, with ramp rates up to 40°C per minute. The optical system uses a highly collimated beam less than 1.5 mm wide, enabling analysis of small-volume samples. The instrument utilizes a xenon flash lamp that requires no warm-up time. It is supplied with Cary UV Workstation software and includes functionality designed to support compliance with electronic data integrity regulations like FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
