Capit-All™ Flex Automated Decapper

Description

The Capit-All Flex is an automated instrument for removing and replacing caps on cryotubes. It is compatible with both Matrix and Nunc brand tubes in 96-well and 48-well plate formats. The system allows users to switch between these tube types without requiring adapters or part changes. Operation is managed through a large, angled 7-inch touchscreen interface that can be used while wearing gloves. A key feature is a built-in drip tray that creates a physical barrier between caps and tubes during processing to help prevent cross-contamination. The instrument includes tube verification to reduce handling errors and can process full or partial racks of tubes. It is designed for benchtop use or integration into larger systems, and its dimensions allow it to fit inside a standard biosafety cabinet.
