Description
The CAMSIZER X2+ from Verder Scientific is a modular particle size and shape analyzer utilizing Dynamic Image Analysis (ISO 13322-2). It covers a broad size range from 0.9 micrometers to 8 millimeters through interchangeable dispersion modules: air pressure dispersion for the full range, gravity dispersion for particles from 10 µm, and wet dispersion for sub-millimeter samples. The optical system uses bright LED stroboscopic lighting and two high-resolution cameras, capturing over 420 frames per second to analyze hundreds of thousands of particles rapidly. Typical measurement duration is one to three minutes. The system delivers comprehensive data on size distribution and shape, capable of detecting trace oversize or undersize fractions. Its modular X-Change design supports both dry and wet measurements for applications in R&D and high-throughput quality control of powders, granules, and suspensions.
