Description
The C.SIGHT 2.0 system from CYTENA is an instrument for the automated isolation and dispensing of single eukaryotic cells. It is engineered to support workflows in cell line development, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) cloning, and cell or gene therapy research. The system dispenses cells into industry-standard SBS-format microplates, including 96-well and 384-well layouts, with a nominal volume of around 200 picoliters per dispense. A full 96-well plate can be processed in approximately 2 minutes, while a 384-well plate takes about 8 minutes. It utilizes proprietary, single-use EASY.ON cartridges to maintain a sterile fluidic path. The technology employs image-based verification to confirm the deposition of a single cell per well without requiring fluorescent labels or stains. Its compact design permits operation inside a biosafety cabinet.
