The BRAND Transferpette Electronic Single Channel Pipette is a microprocessor-controlled liquid handling instrument. It is designed to deliver accurate and reproducible results across a wide volume spectrum, from 0.5 µL to 5 mL, with specific models covering different ranges within this span. Operation is managed through a clear LCD screen, which provides access to five distinct pipetting modes: standard pipetting, mixing, reverse pipetting, step dispensing, and a specialized gel mode for delicate applications like loading electrophoresis gels. A key aspect of its design is ergonomics, featuring a lightweight build, an adjustable finger rest, and a soft-touch keypad to reduce user fatigue during repetitive tasks; this design has received formal 'Ergonomics Approved' certification from TÜV. The instrument incorporates an onboard Easy Calibration system for straightforward compliance with laboratory quality standards. Power is supplied by a rechargeable battery capable of supporting thousands of pipetting cycles. For sterile work, the lower section of the pipette can be autoclaved at 121°C.
