BRAND^® 96 Well Plates

BRANDTECH Scientific produces a line of 96-well microplates for diverse laboratory uses. These plates are fabricated from polystyrene or polypropylene materials, making them suitable for procedures like cell culture, sample storage, and immunoassays. Two standard well capacities are offered: 330µL and 400µL. The plates are designed to work with common automated plate handling equipment. Options include sterile and non-sterile versions, with well bottoms available in rounded, V-bottom, or flat geometries to match specific experimental needs. Some sterile variants include a hydrophilic surface coating. Design features focus on preventing contamination and ensuring secure sample handling. Raised rings around each well help create a reliable seal with adhesive films or mats, while recessed areas between wells reduce the risk of cross-contamination from spills. Lids may include condensation rings. For identification, plates are printed with an alphanumeric grid, and a notched corner assists with correct orientation in automated systems. The plates are stackable for efficient storage. Non-sterile polypropylene plates can withstand autoclaving and are resistant to many chemicals, including DMSO, chloroform, and phenols.
