They simulate both settling dust conditions and more severe blowing dust scenarios to assess abrasion resistance and the sealing integrity of enclosures. The chambers generate a controlled concentration of standardized test dust, such as Arizona road dust, within the test volume. In settling dust mode, the chamber evaluates a specimen's ability to function while accumulating dust during static exposure. In blowing dust mode, regulated airflow propels particulates at the test item to test for seal penetration and surface abrasion. Available in multiple models with interior volumes ranging from 512 to 1500 liters, these chambers are applicable in industries including automotive, aerospace, military, and electronics.
