B Medical Systems manufactures a line of upright blood bank refrigerators for storing blood products at the standard preservation temperature of +4°C. The series includes four models offering different capacities: the B401 with 478 liters, the B501 with 634 liters, the B701 with 792 liters, and the B901 with 949 liters. Each unit is controlled via a 7-inch color touchscreen microprocessor, which manages temperature settings and triggers an integrated alarm system. Data logging and export are possible through a USB port. Security features include an electronic door lock system with proximity card or access control. The insulated door contains a five-pane glass viewing window. Inside, storage is organized using five perforated stainless steel drawers, each fitted with a front cover. The cabinet is mounted on four casters with built-in leveling feet for mobility and stabilization. These refrigerators utilize natural refrigerants and have received Energy Star certification for their energy-efficient operation.
