Biotage® Initiator+

Description

The Biotage Initiator+ is a microwave reactor designed to accelerate chemical synthesis. It uses microwave irradiation to heat reaction mixtures rapidly and uniformly within sealed vessels, enabling temperatures to exceed the standard boiling point of the solvent. This approach can improve reaction rates and yields for organic, inorganic, and peptide synthesis. The instrument incorporates safety systems to protect the operator and equipment. A built-in reaction wizard assists in converting conventional heating methods to optimized microwave protocols. To increase productivity, the system can be configured for automation, allowing a queue of up to 60 reactions to be processed sequentially for unattended operation.
