Biotage Horizon systems are automated, vacuum-driven extraction workstations intended for environmental testing laboratories. They perform disk-based and column-based extractions on sample volumes from 20 mL to 2000 mL, handling up to 12 samples per run. Configurations are available for benchtop use or installation within a fume hood. These systems are applied in the extraction of analytes such as semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and fats, oils, and grease. They support 6 mL and 20 mL column formats as well as 47 mm and 90 mm disks. Automated features include sample bottle rinsing and clog detection with alert functions to improve process reliability.
