Biotage® Extrahera™ Automated Sample Processing System

Description

This Biotage Extrahera system is an automated liquid handling platform for sample preparation in pharmaceutical bioanalysis, forensic testing, and clinical diagnostics. It automates techniques such as Supported Liquid Extraction (SLE), Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), protein precipitation, and phospholipid depletion. The unit processes samples in well plate formats (24, 48, or 96 wells) or with individual columns (1, 3, 6, 10, 15 mL). It accommodates sample volumes from 2 µL to 50 mL and can pipet aliquots from 5 µL to 5000 µL, with a maximum single aliquot volume of 1000 µL. A dual-flow positive pressure mechanism drives processing, operating within a partial pressure range below 500 mbar. The system dimensions are 610 mm wide by 510 mm deep by 730 mm high, and it runs on standard 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz power. The interface is designed to allow method setup without requiring programming knowledge.
