BioSpectrometer® kinetic

Manufacturer: Eppendorf

Description

Eppendorf's BioSpectrometer kinetic is a UV-Vis spectrophotometer configured for routine analysis and kinetic studies. It employs a CMOS photodiode array detector and operates across a spectrum from 200 to 830 nm, with a resolution of 1 nm. A distinguishing feature is its integrated temperature control system, which regulates the sample chamber from 20°C to 42°C in increments of 0.1°C. This capability facilitates experiments that require precise thermal management, such as enzyme kinetics and other temperature-dependent assays. The instrument is used for various applications in biochemistry and molecular biology, including the quantification of nucleic acids and proteins, as well as monitoring the progression of chemical reactions over time.
