Description
The BioProfile FLEX2 On-Line Autosampler is a fluid sampling module that enables automated, continuous sampling from bioreactors for analysis by a connected BioProfile FLEX2 analyzer. This system is used to monitor various cell culture parameters, including pH, gases, metabolites, and cell metrics. It can interface with up to 10 separate bioreactor vessels via tubing, drawing a 5.6 mL sample volume from each for analysis. The autosampler supports high-throughput monitoring; a complete sampling and analysis cycle for all 10 vessels is reported to take under 1.5 hours. Initial system setup for the maximum number of bioreactors is designed to be completed in less than 20 minutes. For integration into automated process control systems, the unit offers compatibility with OPC-based control protocols.
