Description

Eppendorf North America's Bioprocess Autosampler is an automated system for aseptic sample collection from laboratory-scale bioreactors. It is designed for research and development applications in microbiology, supporting small-scale bioprocesses for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and yeasts. The unit is compatible with batch, fed-batch, and continuous cultivation modes. It can be used with both glass bioreactors and single-use vessels, accommodating working volumes from 60 mL up to 1.8 liters, depending on the specific model (catalog numbers 7700200007 or 7700200008). Collected samples are stored in a temperature-controlled compartment, adjustable between 4°C and 40°C, using either 1.5 mL or 10 mL vials; total system capacity can reach up to 648 samples. Sampling speed varies from 5 to 21 minutes per sample, influenced by sample volume and other parameters. The autosampler features a low dead volume design to minimize culture loss. It is controlled via DASware software and is compatible with DASbox and DASGIP bioreactor systems. The system can also be configured to sample from multiple bioreactor vessels.
