Description

This benchtop bioprocess controller is designed for the management of fermentation and cell culture processes in stirred-tank bioreactors. Manufactured by Distek, Inc., it offers compatibility with two primary vessel types: traditional autoclavable glass vessels and disposable single-use bioreactors. The working volume range for autoclavable glass is 0.75 to 10 liters, while single-use systems are supported from 0.9 to 10 liters. The unit provides integrated control over essential cultivation parameters such as agitation, temperature, and gas supply. This dual compatibility provides laboratories with operational flexibility, allowing them to select between reusable glass systems and disposable single-use formats based on the specific requirements of their application, protocol, or workflow preferences.
