Description
The BIOne 250 Bioprocess Controller from Distek, Inc. is a benchtop unit designed for microbial fermentation and cell culture processes. It supports autoclavable glass vessels with a working volume range of 0.75L to 10L, and single-use vessels from 0.9L to 10L. Agitation control ranges from 15 to 1250 RPM for vessels up to 5 liters, and 15 to 900 RPM for a 10-liter vessel. For temperature, the system controls from 4°C above ambient up to 80°C for glass vessels and up to 60°C for single-use systems, with a resolution of 0.1°C. The pH measurement capability covers a range of 2 to 12. The controller utilizes fixed-speed pumps and rotameters for gas flow management. It features an interface designed for operational simplicity and includes capabilities for remote monitoring and control, offering compatibility with both autoclavable and single-use fermenter formats.
