BioFlo® 320 Vessels
Manufacturer: Eppendorf North America
SKU: BioFlo 320 Vessels
Description
BioFlo 320 Vessels from Eppendorf North America are designed for use with the BioFlo 320 control station. They are offered in several configurations, primarily featuring autoclavable borosilicate glass bodies paired with stainless steel headplates. For temperature regulation, users can choose between stainless steel dish-bottom vessels for efficient heat transfer or traditional water-jacketed vessels for more gradual thermal control. Four standard sizes are typically available for each vessel type. The system supports interchangeable overhead drives, including magnetic and direct drive options. A variety of impellers can be selected, such as Rushton turbines, pitched blades, marine blades, spin filters, cell lift impellers, and specialized packed-bed designs. The headplate incorporates multiple industry-standard ports for integrating sensors and other accessories. Working volumes generally range from 0.6 to 10.5 liters. These vessels are suitable for batch, fed-batch, and continuous processes across a broad spectrum of applications, including the cultivation of bacteria, yeast, fungi, mammalian cells, and insect cells. They also support specialized uses like stem cell culture or biopolymer development. Validation packages are available for processes that must comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
