Description

The BioFlo 320 from Eppendorf North America is a benchtop control station for bioprocessing applications involving microbial and cell cultures. This system offers a versatile foundation by supporting interchangeable vessel types. Users can select from autoclavable vessels with capacities of 1, 3, 5, or 10 liters, or opt for pre-sterilized single-use vessels in 1, 5, 14, or 50-liter sizes. The corresponding working volumes span 0.6 to 10.5 liters for autoclavable configurations and 0.25 to 40 liters for single-use setups. A key technical feature is its integration with the Mettler Toledo ISM (Intelligent Sensor Management) platform, which simplifies sensor calibration and data management. The unit includes Ethernet connectivity, and its software enables a single interface to manage up to eight separate control stations. Designed for flexibility, the system can be customized with various options to accommodate different process scales and specific experimental needs in a laboratory setting.
