BioBLU® Single-Use Vessels
Manufacturer: Eppendorf North America
SKU: BioBLU
Description
Eppendorf North America's BioBLU Single-Use Vessels are disposable stirred-tank systems for a wide spectrum of cell culture and fermentation applications. The product family supports working volumes from 65 mL to 40 liters, covering scales from research to manufacturing. These pre-sterilized, rigid vessels are compatible with diverse cell types, including insect, mammalian, and human suspension cells, stem cells, adherent cells, bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. To accommodate different biological requirements, multiple impeller options are available: pitched blade impellers for shear-sensitive cultures, a packed-bed impeller with Fibra-Cel disks for adherent cell growth, and Rushton-type impellers for demanding microbial processes. Implementing single-use technology can simplify validation, eliminate autoclaving steps, and potentially lower operational costs.
