Description

The BioBLU f Series from Eppendorf comprises single-use bioreactor vessels specifically configured for microbial fermentation. These rigid, stirred-tank units are intended for cultivating robust organisms like bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. Their disposable nature removes the necessity for cleaning and sterilization cycles, which helps minimize cross-contamination and accelerates workflow. The vessels are offered in working volumes spanning 65 milliliters to 3.75 liters. They are fitted with Rushton-type impellers, a design selected to provide effective gas dispersion and mixing in high-density microbial cultures. This range of sizes facilitates scalable process development from initial studies up to pilot-scale production.
