Description

Bettersizer S3 Plus is a particle analyzer that integrates laser diffraction and dynamic image analysis to provide simultaneous size and shape data. Its patented DLOI (Dual Lenses & Oblique Incidence) optical system, utilizing a 532 nm laser, enables a laser diffraction measurement range from 0.01 to 3,500 micrometers. The imaging system analyzes particle shape for particles between 2 and 3,500 micrometers. The optical bench is configured with 96 detectors. The instrument is applicable to various materials, including those used in pharmaceuticals, ceramics, battery manufacturing, coatings, and 3D printing. An optional autosampler (BT-A60) is available for automated sample introduction. The system software also includes functionality for measuring the refractive index of sample materials.
