Description
The BELSORP MR1 is a compact, standalone analyzer for the rapid determination of specific surface area using the dynamic BET single-point method. This technique involves measuring the adsorption of a gas, typically nitrogen or krypton, at liquid nitrogen temperature. The instrument employs a dynamic flow method and incorporates highly sensitive thermal conductivity detectors (TCD), along with precise thermometers and pressure gauges, to deliver a result in approximately 15 minutes. A notable operational feature is the ability to perform sample pre-treatment and measurement simultaneously. User interaction is managed through a touch panel interface, with automated functions for Dewar movement and calibration to simplify operation. Upon measurement completion, the specific surface area is calculated and displayed automatically, removing the need for manual computation. Results can be exported via USB storage device in formats such as text files or Excel spreadsheets, or printed directly as a report.
