Description

The BELPYCNO L Gas Pycnometer is a fully automated instrument for determining the skeletal density and volume of solid samples. It utilizes the gas displacement method, employing an inert gas such as helium to access even sub-nanometer pores, providing a more accurate density measurement than liquid-based techniques. The system is designed with a selection of sample cells, offering approximate volumes of 4 cm³, 20 cm³, 40 cm³, 60 cm³, 112 cm³, and 150 cm³ to handle a wide range of sample sizes and types, including powders, granules, pastes, and porous solids. Integrated temperature control and a high-precision pressure transducer automatically compensate for environmental conditions to ensure stable, reproducible results. The unit can operate as a standalone device or be connected to a computer for enhanced data management via included software.
