Description
The BELPYCNO Gas Pycnometer is an instrument for measuring the true density of solid materials and powders using the gas displacement method. It determines density by precisely measuring the pressure change when a known volume of inert gas expands into a chamber containing the sample. The system is designed with multiple interchangeable sample cells of different volumes (10 cm³, 3.5 cm³, and 1 cm³) to accommodate various sample sizes. A notable design feature is a greaseless sealing mechanism for the sample cell, which minimizes maintenance and prevents potential sample contamination. Operation is managed through an integrated touchscreen interface for straightforward control. This instrument is applicable to a wide array of materials, including those from the chemical, polymer, ceramic, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries, as well as advanced materials like battery slurries and nanoparticle dispersions.
