Description

The BELPREP VAC II is a vacuum degassing system designed for preparing solid samples prior to surface area and porosity analysis via gas sorption methods. Its primary function is to remove adsorbed moisture and contaminants from sample surfaces through controlled heating under a vacuum or a flowing inert gas atmosphere. A key feature of its design is the flow-through capability, which permits continuous degassing. This allows the pretreatment process to occur simultaneously with active measurement runs on a connected analyzer, thereby improving laboratory efficiency. The unit is equipped with three independent ports for the concurrent preparation of multiple samples. It is suitable for a range of particulate materials, including sands, sediments, seeds, pharmaceutical pellets, fertilizers, and various foodstuffs.
