Description

The BELCAT II from Verder Scientific is a fully automated, benchtop analyzer for comprehensive catalyst characterization using dynamic flow methods. Its core techniques include pulse chemisorption for determining active metal dispersion and a single-point BET measurement for surface area analysis. The system performs a range of temperature-programmed analyses: reduction (TPR), oxidation (TPO), desorption (TPD), and reaction (TPReaction). Precise gas control is managed by three high-performance mass flow controllers, and an automatic gas injection system handles calibration. A pulse loop with integrated temperature and pressure sensors contributes to reproducible results.
