BeerCraft™ Software from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a dedicated application for UV-Vis spectrophotometric analysis in brewing quality control. It is compatible with the GENESYS 50 and GENESYS 150 spectrophotometers. The software provides pre-configured methods for over twenty specific analytical parameters, automating calculations to standardize testing. Included methods cover key beer attributes such as Bitterness Units (IBU), iso-alpha-acids, low-concentration alcohol, free amino nitrogen (FAN), diacetyl, color (EBC/SRM), total polyphenols, total carbohydrate, protein, dissolved oxygen, and total sulfur dioxide. For raw material analysis, it includes methods for alpha- and beta-acids in hops and reducing sugars in wort. By enabling rapid, consistent measurement of these parameters, the software aids brewers in maintaining product uniformity and brand specifications throughout the production process.
