Description

Designed for industrial process monitoring, the BEAM Process FT-NIR Spectrometer from Bruker Optics is a Fourier-transform near-infrared analyzer. It performs real-time, non-destructive measurements of solids and semi-solids directly on production lines, suitable for mounting on pipelines, hoppers, or conveyor systems. The instrument's robust interferometer, featuring Cube Corner mirrors and a wear-free pivot, is engineered to maintain stability and resist vibration in demanding plant environments. A broad spectral range and high resolution support accurate analysis of complex materials, which can be challenging for simpler analyzers. For rapid process control, the system can acquire data at speeds exceeding 250 scans per minute. To enhance operational reliability, it incorporates a dual-source mode; the spectrometer automatically switches to a backup source if the primary one fails, minimizing downtime.
