Description

The BD FACSymphony A1 Cell Analyzer is a benchtop flow cytometer intended for detailed multiparameter analysis of cell suspensions in research settings. It functions by measuring light scatter and fluorescence from individual cells as they pass through one or more laser beams, allowing for the characterization of cell phenotype and function. The standard configuration analyzes samples from 12 x 75 mm tubes, with an optional high-throughput sampler available for processing samples directly from 96- or 384-well microtiter plates. This facilitates data acquisition from limited sample volumes. The system is engineered to support multicolor panel experiments, enabling researchers to simultaneously measure numerous cellular parameters.
