Axia Preparative LC Columns from Phenomenex are designed for liquid chromatography (LC) purification workflows. They are available with over 40 distinct achiral and chiral stationary phase selectivities. A key feature is the proprietary column packing method, which aims to create a sorbent bed with higher density compared to traditional preparative packing techniques. This design is intended to enhance chromatographic performance and, by reducing the potential for media bed collapse, improve column longevity and reliability in preparative HPLC and SFC applications. The column hardware is also engineered to support these advanced packing technologies.
