Description

The Avanti JXN-26 Series is a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, suitable for high-throughput sample processing. It maintains a temperature range from 10°C to 40°C and accommodates a wide variety of labware, with a capacity ranging from 24 tubes of 1.8 mL up to 6 bottles of 1 L. The instrument features an intuitive interface and ergonomic design. Key operational aspects include flexible data management through the MobileFuge Advanced system, which supports protocol storage, real-time run graphing, and password protection for up to 50 user profiles. Safety is addressed through features like Dynamic Rotor Inertia Check (DRIC) and automatic rotor recognition. The centrifuge utilizes a Switched Reluctance (SR) drive for high torque, which shortens cycle times and contributes to lower energy use. Software controls allow for rotor selection by name, 11 acceleration and 12 deceleration rates, delay start, run times up to 99 hours and 59 minutes, and an ω2t integrator for reproducible runs. The unit measures 71 cm in width, 86 cm in depth, and 86 cm in height.
