The Avanti J-15 is a high-performance benchtop centrifuge designed for laboratories requiring powerful separation in a space-saving footprint. It achieves a maximum speed of 10,200 RPM, generating a relative centrifugal force (RCF) of up to 11,420 x g. This capability supports a range of applications, including cell culturing, nucleic acid purification, protein concentration, blood component separation, and assay setup. A notable feature is its Ultra Harmonic Technology, which employs intelligent acceleration and deceleration profiles to minimize sample disturbance, aiming to improve pellet integrity and sample yield. The unit includes a multi-dimensional imbalance tolerance (MIT) system intended to reduce false-positive imbalance alerts. Operational control is facilitated through a color LCD interface, which provides one-touch access to the six most recently used programs, with storage for up to 99 protocols.
