Description
The AUTOPOL VI from Rudolph Research Analytical is an automatic polarimeter designed for precise optical rotation measurements. It offers a wide measuring range of +/-89° for optical rotation and +/-999.99° for specific rotation, with concentration measurement capability up to 99.9%. The instrument achieves high accuracy, particularly for low-rotation samples, with a specification of 0.0003° arc within the +/-1° arc range. It operates at six standard wavelengths: 365 nm, 405 nm, 436 nm, 546 nm, 589 nm, and 633 nm. A key feature is its integrated temperature control system, TempTrol™, which allows for electronic heating and cooling across a range of 10°C to 100°C, with precise control from 15°C to 30°C. The system supports multiple measurement modes, including optical rotation, specific rotation, specific rotation plus concentration, user-defined scales, and °Z sugar degrees.
