AUTOPOL IV Polarimeter

Manufacturer: Rudolph Research Analytical

SKU: Inquire

Description

Rudolph Research Analytical's AUTOPOL IV is a microprocessor-controlled automatic polarimeter available in configurations offering one, two, or six measurement wavelengths. It measures optical rotation, specific rotation, and concentration, with a broad measuring range of +/-89° for optical rotation, +/-999.99° for specific rotation, and 0 to 99.9% for concentration. The instrument achieves an accuracy of 0.002° up to 1°, 0.2% up to 5°, and 0.01° above 5°. Users can select from several wavelengths, including 365 nm, 405 nm, 436 nm, 546 nm, 589 nm, and 633 nm (with 578nm and 880nm also available). The temperature range for sample measurement is from 10°C to 100°C. Features include a touchscreen interface, customer-defined programs for simplified operation, temperature display and correction, statistical functions, and data communication via RS-232 and parallel printer ports. Its versatility makes it suitable for various research and quality control applications in chemistry and pharmaceuticals.
