ASD FieldSpec 4 Standard-Res Spectroradiometer
Manufacturer: Malvern Panalytical
Description
Manufactured by Malvern Panalytical, the ASD FieldSpec 4 Standard-Res is a portable spectroradiometer for field-based spectroscopy. It captures spectral data from 350 to 2500 nm. Its spectral resolution is 3 nm in the visible and near-infrared (VNIR) region at 700 nm, and 10 nm in the shortwave infrared (SWIR) at 1400 nm and 2100 nm. The detector suite consists of a 512-element silicon array for the 350-1000 nm range and two separate thermoelectrically cooled InGaAs photodiodes for the SWIR segments (1001-1800 nm and 1801-2500 nm). This model is positioned as a general-purpose field instrument for applications where a balance of performance, reliability, and portability is needed.
