Description

The Ascent Max F Series is a ductless fume hood from Esco Technologies designed for applications requiring particulate filtration. A key feature of this series is its dual HEPA filtration system, making it suitable for use in cleanroom environments or for procedures involving powdered or solid chemicals where particulate containment is critical. The cabinet construction is noted for its robustness. Operational noise and vibration levels are reported to be extremely low. The exterior finish utilizes an Isocide antimicrobial powder coating to inhibit microbial growth on surfaces. The hood maintains a nominal inflow face velocity of 0.4 meters per second (80 feet per minute). The series is offered in multiple standard sizes, typically corresponding to 3-foot, 4-foot, and 6-foot widths (approximately 0.9, 1.2, and 1.8 meters). Both exterior and interior physical dimensions vary according to the selected model size.
