Description

The AquaMax Microplate Washer is a self-contained system for washing 96- or 384-well microplates in biochemical and cell-based assays. It features interchangeable wash heads that are automatically detected, allowing easy configuration for different plate formats. The washer utilizes a touchscreen interface for operating pre-configured protocols or creating custom multi-step wash, soak, and aspiration routines. For cell-based applications, optional wash heads with angled pins are available to enable gentle fluid handling, minimizing disruption or loss of weakly adherent cells. The system includes features for operational convenience, such as a standby mode to keep probes primed for immediate use and automated cleaning protocols. With precise dispense and aspiration control, it supports various washing techniques, including sequential, continuous, and bottom washing. The unit, measuring 20.3 cm deep, 18.3 cm wide, and 8.3 cm high, is designed for integration with automation systems like plate stackers and robotic handlers.
