The Apollo GX-A and GF-A series are precision top-loading balances from A&D Weighing, engineered for demanding laboratory and production environments. A key differentiator between the two lines is their calibration method: the GX-A models feature internal calibration, while the GF-A models require external calibration. Both series utilize the company's Smart Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) technology, which contributes to a fast response time of approximately one second. This core technology enables several advanced features. Impact Shock Detection (ISD) helps identify and log events where the balance may have been subjected to physical shock. Electronically Controlled Load (ECL) is designed to protect the sensor during automated sample handling or when weighing unstable materials. The Flow Rate Display (FRD) function provides a real-time readout of mass change over time. Display readability varies by specific model within the series, ranging from 0.001 g to 0.1 g.
