Description

The Antaris MX FT-NIR Process Analyzer by Thermo Fisher Scientific is engineered for continuous, real-time process monitoring and quality control. This Fourier Transform NIR system covers a spectral range from 833 to 2500 nm with a resolution of 4 cm⁻¹ (0.6 nm at 1250 nm). A defining capability is its simultaneous multiplexing technology, allowing for concurrent measurement at up to four distinct process points via fiber-optic probes. The analyzer incorporates an 'always-on' internal reference system, enabling continuous self-validation without requiring probe removal from the process stream for background collection. It supports industry-standard SMA905 fiber optic connectors for probe flexibility and includes integrated communication interfaces such as OPC, 4-20 mA, and digital I/O for seamless integration into process control networks. Like the Antaris II, it is supplied with the ValPro Instrument Qualification package to facilitate regulatory compliance (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) in controlled manufacturing environments.
