Description

LECO's AMH55 is an automated system for performing Vickers hardness testing, covering both macro and micro-indentation scales. It automates the key steps of the testing process, including the application of the test force, focusing, and the subsequent measurement of the indentation diagonal. This automation standardizes operations and aims to improve productivity and repeatability. The system interfaces with a computer via USB 3.0 and is controlled by LECO's Cornerstone software, which manages test parameters, analyzes indentation images, and facilitates data reporting. It is designed for evaluating the hardness of various materials and surface conditions in industrial quality control and research settings.
