AllerGard^™ ES NU-621 Containment Animal Transfer Station

Description

The AllerGard ES NU-621 is a single-sided containment station designed for the transfer of animals and changing of cages in laboratory vivarium settings. It establishes a controlled environment through a combination of airflow systems. A dynamic air barrier moving at 75 feet per minute across the cabinet's front opening provides enhanced protection for the user against allergens. Within the work zone, a laminar downflow of HEPA-filtered air at 60 feet per minute helps maintain sterility for the animals. Exhaust air is also HEPA-filtered before being released, contributing to environmental protection within the facility. The cabinet is constructed on a motorized base, facilitating height adjustment for multiple users. A pre-filtration system is incorporated to prolong the operational life of the primary HEPA filters. Available in several nominal widths, the NU-621 series can be configured to suit different laboratory spaces and workflow requirements. It is classified as an ISO Class 4 clean air device.
