Description

The Alcotest-RI® from Rudolph Research Analytical is a digital refractometer system designed for the measurement of alcohol content in beverages. It provides two primary operational modes. The first is a government-compliant certified method, which yields results that can be used for official taxation and regulatory purposes. The second is a rapid production method, which allows for non-certified alcohol measurement without requiring a distillation step; this mode can also measure sugar content, which is a common source of interference in flavored alcoholic products. The instrument enables users to switch between these certified and production methodologies with minimal input. It is applied in quality control and compliance testing within distilleries, wineries, and breweries.
